Nimood Adult Portable Bed Rails Recall Lawsuit

On June 11, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the bed rail.

According to the CPSC, the bed rails may violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. Users may become entrapped within the bed rail, or between the bedrail and the mattress, posing a serious risk of entrapment or death by asphyxiation. Additionally, the bed rails may not meet structural stability requirements, and could pose a fall hazard.

Are the Portable Bed Rails Recalled?

Yes, shenzhenshinikezhinengshebeiyouxiangongsi (Shenzhen Nike Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.) dba Nimood US, of China announced a product safety recall.

This recall involves Nimood branded adult portable bed rails in the following models:

  • C3 Pro – is made of white metal tubing with a rounded black foam rubber grip handle, and includes a fabric pouch, black strap, and a detachable adjustable magnetic motion light bar.
  • C4 Pro- is made of black metal tubing with a rounded black foam rubber grip handle, and includes a fabric pouch, black strap, and a detachable adjustable magnetic motion light bar.
  • C5 Pro – has a foldable frame made of black metal tubing with a rounded black foam rubber grip handle, and includes a fabric pouch, black strap, and a detachable adjustable magnetic motion light bar. The bed support railing has a foldable frame made of black metal and black foam padding on the grip handle.
  • C5 Pro 2.0- has a foldable frame made of black metal tubing with a rounded black foam rubber grip handle, and includes a fabric pouch, black strap, and a detachable adjustable motion light that is attached by Velcro. The bed support railing has a foldable frame made of black metal and black foam padding on the grip handle.

The model numbers may be found on the assembly instructions, if kept.

The bed rails were sold online through Amazon.com and Nimood.com from Nov. 2024 through Jan. 2026 for between $55 and $80.
