On April 16, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the bed rails.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the bed rails may violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. Consumers can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This poses a potentially serious entrapment hazard and could lead to the risk of death by asphyxiation.
Are the Bed Rails Recalled?
Yes, Cheyouhang Technology Shenzhen Co., Ltd., dba ZOLIQUEX, of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Zoliquex-branded adult portable bed rails. The bed rail comes in silver. The model number “ZEX014-V1” and “Zoliquex” are both printed on the products packaging.
The bed rails were sold through Amazon.com from Aug. 2023 through Feb. 2026 for about $43.
