On April 9, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the bed rail..
According to the assessment of CPSC, the bed rails may violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. Users may become entrapped within the bed rail, or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and a potential risk of death by asphyxiation.
Are the Bed Rails Recalled?
Yes, Shenzhen Zhongfenzhigu Technology Co., Ltd., dba ZFZG-US, of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Easymake adult portable bed rails. The white and gray metal bed rails measure about 31.3 inches wide by 39.4 inches tall and have extendable handles and legs with gray padding and a gray storage mesh pocket. “EASYMAKE” is printed on the product packaging.
The bed rails were sold online through Amazon.com from Aug. 2023 through Feb. 2026 for about $55.
