On Feb. 5, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the e-bikes.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the Fidlock buckles may not fully latch when used with children in the cargo area. This poses a safety hazard and an increased risk of injury to children
There are currently three reports of the buckles not fully latching.
Are the Urban Arrow E-Bikes Recalled?
Yes, Gazelle USA, LLC, of Santa Cruz, California announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Urban Arrow FamilyNext Pro Cargo E-Bikes with Fidlock buckles. The recalled bicycle comes in green and black. “Urban Arrow” is printed on the bottom of the cargo box.
The e-bikes were sold in Individual specialty stores from March 2025 through December 2025 for about $9,000.
