On Feb. 19, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the LED lights.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the lights may violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. The lights contain button cell batteries that could be easily acquired by children, posing a possible ingestion hazard, which could lead to serious injuries, chemical burns, or death. Additionally, the lights may fail to feature warnings as are required by Reese’s Law.
