On Feb. 5, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using Kitosun submersible LED lights.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the submersible LED lights may violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. They contain lithium coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing a potential ingestion hazard which can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
