On July 16, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the toddler tower stool.
According to the CPSC, the toddler tower stool can tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to fall hazards.
There are currently 11 reports involving the tower stools being unstable.
Are the Toddler Tower Stools Recalled?
Yes, TOMY International, Inc., of Oak Brook, Illinois announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Boon PIVOT Toddler Tower Kids Kitchen Step Stools. The metal and plastic tower stools were sold in gray and white. “boon” is visible along the top rail, and a warning label is visible along the side of the standing platform.
The toddler tower stools were sold online through Target.com, Amazon.com and Babylist.com from January 2023 through June 2026 for around $150.
