On April 23, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the tower stool.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use. Additionally, the openings on the sides of the stool may be large enough for a child’s torso to fit through, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards.
There are currently seven reports of children falling from the stool or becoming entrapped, resulting in four injuries such as contusions.
Are the Tower Stools Recalled?
Yes, SiPaiSaiErDianZiShangWu (ShenZhen)YouXianGongSi, dba AMZCMJ DGD, of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves AMZCMJ DGD-branded children’s tower stools. They are foldable and convert into a table and a chair and have a blackboard. The brand name is printed on the product’s order receipt.
The stools were sold through Amazon.com from Feb. 2025 through March 2026 for between $85 and $100.
