On May 7, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the table top fire pit.
According to the CPSC, the fire pits require the user to light the firepit’s bioethanol fuel from same location as where the fuel is poured. This may result in an uncontrolled pool fire, which can produce larger, hotter flames without warning. Additionally, there may be a risk of flame jetting when using the product, which could result in serious or fatal burns.
