On Sept. 24, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the sleep machines.
According to the CPSC, the lithium-ion battery in the sleep machines can overheat if the charger is not properly compatible with the unit, posing a risk of injury from fire and burn hazards.
Are the Sleep Machines Recalled?
Yes, Love To Dream, Inc., of Wilmington, Delaware announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves the portable sleep machine with model number LTD-SM23 and date code 7W15TN. The sleep machines feature various sounds, adjustable volume, a built-in nightlight, and includes a USB charging cable. “Love to Dream” is imprinted on the machine and on the brown handle.
The sleep machines were sold in Target and Nordstrom stores nationwide and online at lovetodream.com, Amazon.com, Walmartmarketplace.com, babylist.com and poshmommy.com from February 2025 through September 2026 for about $60.
