Zipadee Kids Bed Frames Recall Lawsuit

Zipadee Kids’ Convertible House bed frames and Montessori floor beds have been recalled due to the risk of strangulation and entrapment. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC are currently accepting new bed frame lawsuits. Learn more below.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Zipadee Kids’ Convertible House bed frames and Montessori floor beds due to the risk of entrapment and strangulation. The recall was issued on Aug. 17, 2023.

According to the CPSC, the spaces between slats and spindles pose a serious trapping hazard for children. A child’s torso can slip through the rail opening, but not their head, which could cause them to choke or suffer other injuries.

According to the CPSC, two children have become trapped in the bed rails. One of the children, a four-year-old girl, suffered injuries.

Approximately 7,450 of the bed products were recalled.

What models of the bed frames have been recalled?

The Zipadee Kids recall includes Zipadee Montessori beds sold in twin, full, and queen size variations of the Convertible House bed frame and Montessori floor bed.

The recall also includes toddler-size Montessori beds manufactured between May and September 2022.

The CPSC urges consumers to immediately dispose of the bed frames, not to donate or resell these products.
