On April 23, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the tower stool.
According to the CPSC, the stools may collapse or tip over while in use. Additionally, a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the tower’s sides, which can create a risk of serious injury and death.
There are currently 22 known reports of the stools collapsing, including six injuries such as contusions and scrapes.
Are the Tower Stools Recalled?
Yes, Hangzhou Xinyanchuangxin Technology Co Ltd., dba Wiifo, of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Wiifo-branded children’s tower stools. The tower stools were sold in white, natural, and light wood finish. “Model LT005” is printed on a label on the underside of the standing platform.
The tower stools were sold through Amazon.com from June 2022 through March of 2026 for about $60.
