Trek Allant+ 7 Bicycles Recall Lawsuit

On Sept. 28, 2023, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Trek’s Allant+ 7 bicycles with Tektro brakes due to crash injury risks.

According to the CPSC, the rear brake can break when the rider turns the handlebars. The rider can then lose control of the bike, leading to a crash.

There have been 58 reports of riders losing control of their bikes.

Approximately 7,000 units are included in the recall.

Allant-7-Bicycle

The recall includes Trek Allant+ 7 bikes with the following models:

  • Allant+ 7 | Nautical Navy
  • Allant+ 7 Lowstep | Nautical Navy
  • Allant + 7S | Nautical Navy and Matte Quicksilver
  • Allant +7S Stagger | Nautical Navy and Matte Quicksilver

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled Trek bicycles.
