TheKiddoSpace Recall Lawsuit

On Feb. 26, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued multiple warnings to consumers to immediately cease using the featured products from TheKiddoSpace.

Are TheKiddoSpace products Recalled?

Yes, SN Commerce LLC, dba TheKiddoSpaceStore, of Dover, Delaware announced a product safety recall.

This recall involves the following products:

The fabric may form loops that could possibly entangle a child’s head or neck, posing a potential risk of serious injury or death from strangulation.

The swing is made of a stretchable, cocoon-style hammock that is intended to be suspended indoors. They came in green, gray, blue and pink and in themed prints: ocean, jungle, space and fairytale.

The swing was sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting Nov. 2023 through Feb.2025 for $50 to $80.

The peg dolls are intended for children under three years old, but, due to the size, the toy’s parts may block a child’s airway. This may potentially violate the small parts ban, and could pose a risk of choking and death.

The toy contains seven rainbow-colored wooden peg figures with a matching cup.

The peg dolls were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting July 2023 through Feb.2025 for $30

The book’s felt parts may detach. This poses a possible choking risk.

The recalled soft fabric books have six felt pages. TheKiddoSpace logo, the word “BOOK,”and the number “2” are located on the front cover, along with images of a rainbow and clouds.

The books were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting March 2023 through Feb.2025 for $45-$50

The toys are intended for children under three years of age. Due to their size, the eggs may block a child’s airway, posing a potential risk of choking and death.

The Montessori children’s puzzle eggs consist of six or 12 white plastic eggs that split in two and come in a yellow storage case. Each egg half has a different colored geometric shape that only fits with its matching pair.

The puzzles were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting June 2023 through Feb.2025 for $20-$30.

The pens in the recalled children’s handwriting kits may contain levels of lead in the nib that exceed the federal lead content ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children.

The block handwriting kits consist of four reusable books with animal images on the cover (alphabet with a bunny, numbers with a frog, math with a cow and drawing with an elephant); black pens; blue, green, yellow, purple, pink and red pen grips; and pen refills.

The cursive handwriting kits consist of three reusable books with an image of an open book on the cover; black pens; blue, green, yellow, purple, pink and red pen grips; and pen refills.

The handwriting practice kits were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting Feb. 2024 through Feb.2025 for $25-$50.

The flashcard toy sets may contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban and could contain levels of phthalates that exceed the federal phthalates ban. Lead and phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and have the potential to cause adverse health issues. In addition, the flashcards may also violate the mandatory standard for toys as they may fail to comply with the short circuit protection requirement for battery-operated toys.

The animal-shaped, toys were sold with a varying number of flashcards.

The rectangular toys have a slot at the top to insert the flash cards, a speaker, volume and power buttons at the front. The toys come with multi-colored flash cards that have animals, shapes, people, foods or vehicle illustrations and the descriptive word written on the card.

The flashcard talking toys were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting Oct. 2023 through Feb.2025 for $30-$50.

The zipper pull on the music box compartment of the Christmas Tree Toys may contain levels of lead that could exceed the federal lead content ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and may cause adverse health issues. Additionally, the Christmas tree component may fail to comply with various mechanical and electrical requirements for battery-operated toys.

TheKiddoSpace-branded children’s Christmas tree toy play sets include two felt play sets that consist of a two-sided Christmas tree with, holiday-themed felt ornaments.

The playsets were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting Oct. 2023 through Feb.2025 for $13-$40.

The cord lock on the water balloons’ storage bags may potentially contain a regulated phthalate, which could violate the federal phthalate ban. Phthalates can be toxic if ingested by young children and have the potential to cause adverse health effects.

The refillable multi-colored water balloons are silicon balls that have small magnets to keep them closed when filled and come with a black mesh storage bag.

The water balloons were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting April 2024 through Feb.2025 for $15-$30.

The children’s fingerpainting kits may contain the hazardous substances methanol and ethylene glycol and are intended for children under 12 years of age, which could violate the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. The products may also contain a regulated phthalate, which may violate the federal phthalate ban; phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can potentially cause adverse health effects.

The children’s fingerpainting kits consist of one round paint palette with 12, 25 or 36 colors and one or more coloring books with between 14 and 40 pages each. TheKiddoSpace logo, “Finger Painting Kit,” and an image of a child with painted hands are printed on the product’s light-blue box.

The fingerpainting kits were sold through TheKiddoSpaceStore.com. starting June 2023 through Feb.2025 for $20-$30.

The surface temperature of the toys’ batteries may exceed the allowable limit, which could violate the standard for toys, and may pose a potential risk of burn injuries.

The plastic soccer balls are black and white and have foam bumpers.
Only the ‘small’ hover balls that measure about 5.5 inches in diameter are included in this recall.
