On Sept. 24, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the battery packs.
According to the CPSC, the lithium-ion battery in the recalled battery packs can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
There are currently four reports of the batteries overheating, smoking, or igniting.
Are the Battery Packs Recalled?
Yes, Go North Rocket 28 AB, of Sweden announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Blue Cactus Company Reclining Chair 2500 mAh battery packs with model number RWX-RBP02. The battery packs are black with the brand logo and brand name of “The Blue Cactus Company” imprinted on the front. The packs can be identified by the model number RWX-RBP02 printed on the rear of the product.
The battery packs were sold online through Amazon.com from May 2023 through July 2026 for about $105.
