On March 19, 2026 ,The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the office chair.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the base of the chair may bend while in use, and could pose a potential fall and injury hazard to consumers.
Are the Office Chairs Recalled?
Yes, Tainoki Fine Furniture, of Brea, California announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Tainokia office chairs that are height-adjustable and feature an upholstered padded seat, backrest headrest, and two padded armrests.
The following model names, model numbers, and colors are included in this recall:
- Noah Office Chair, M7016O, in Cream, Jiffy, French Roast, and Black
- Owen Office Chair, M7004O, in Cream, Black, Merlin, Jiffy and Wade
- Warren Office Chair, M7074O, in Taupe and Justin’s.
- The model numbers can be found on the label beneath the chair’s seat.
The chairs were sold in HomeGoods stores nationwide from Aug. 2025 through Dec. 2025 for between $180 and $200.
