Sperax Walking Pads and Treadmills Lawsuit

On April 16, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the walking pads.

According to the assessment of CPSC, the walking pads may suddenly stop or unexpectedly change speeds. Consumers may lose their balance and fall, posing an injury risk. Additionally, due to a possible malfunction, the product may overheat, and could present a fire and burn hazard.

There are currently 201 reports of uncontrollable speed, abrupt stops and similar stability-related failures, resulting in at least 66 falls or injuries, including at least one concussion that required medical attention. Notably, there are also 573 reports of overheating, fires and other thermal incidents, including four reports of minor burns.

Are the Sperax Walking Pads Recalled?

No, Quanzhou Wentelai Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd., d/b/a Sperax, has not agreed to a recall at this time.

This recall involves Sperax walking pads and treadmills in the following models:

  • Pro
  • Q1
  • RM-01
  • RM-02

The walking pads are black and feature a red trim. The model number can be located under the label near the power switch.

The walking pads were sold online using websites such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com, NewEgg.com and eBay.com.
