On May 14, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the hair dryer.
According to the CPSC, the hair dryers may lack an integrated immersion protection device that can result in risk of serious injury or death from electrocution and shock.
