On Feb. 5, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the bike helmet.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the bike helmets may violate the mandatory safety standard for bike helmets. The helmets may not comply with required impact attenuation, stability, and certification requirements. This could possibly fail to protect the child in the event of a crash or fall, potentially increasing the risk of serious injury or death.
Are the Semfri Bike Helmets Recalled?
Yes, Jinjiangshi XunMai Network Technology Co., Ltd., dba Semfri, of China, announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Semfri children’s helmets. The helmets were sold in a size medium, and could be purchased in the following colors:
- Orange
- Black
- Blue
- Navy blue
- Pink
- Red
- White
The helmets have a black plastic knob at the back of the helmet for adjusting the fitting.
The helmets were sold online on Walmart.com from June 2025 through Nov. 2025 for between $19 and $28.
