On Oct. 23, 2025, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using both the Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid Saunas .
Due to a deficiency in the sauna’s bench structure, it may break while in use. This architectural flaw poses a potential risk to consumers, and has the possibility of leading to injury.
There are currently seven reports of the benches breaking, including one consumer with head and neck injuries.
Are the Sauna360 Saunas Recalled?
Yes. Sauna360, Inc., of Cokato, Minnesota issued a product safety recall.
This recall involves Sauna360’s Tylö branded Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid sauna rooms. The following serial numbers are included in this recall.
Tylo Halmstad 2-4
- CSFxxABTRxx-V1-4933 through CSFxxABTRxx-V1-6970
Tylo Kiruna Hybrid 2-3
- CSFxxABISxxTL-V1-4964 through CSFxxABISxxTL-V1-7224
The Halmstad 2, 3, and 4 sauna rooms have the serial number label located beneath the upper bench on the left side, directly above the electrical contactor box. The Kiruna Hybrid 2 and 3 rooms have the serial number label applied to the right wall, located beneath the right side of the upper bench. The model number is printed in the manual.
The saunas were sold through a variety of distributors nationwide from July 2024 through Dec. 2024 for between $6,000 and $12,000.
