Moonsea Pack and Play Mattresses Recall Lawsuit

Moonsea Pack and Play crib mattresses have been recalled due to the risk of choking infants. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC are currently accepting new baby product lawsuits. Learn more below.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled the Moonsea Pack and Play crib mattresses due to a violation of federal safety standards. The recall was posted on Dec. 7, 2023.

According to the CPSC, the recalled mattresses violate federal safety standards on thickness, are missing warnings and labels, and pose a choking hazard to infants.

Approximately 11,000 mattresses were included in the recall. The mattresses were exclusively sold on Amazon.com from January 2023 through August 2023.

The recall affects Moonsea pack-and-play mattresses, which are white and folded in a tri-fold pattern. Date codes from 15/08/2022 to 23/08/2023 are included in the recall. A small tag at the top of the mattress has the date code on it in the format “DD.MM.YYYY.”

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled crib mattresses.

Johnson//Becker lawyers take dangerous baby product cases seriously. The firm has represented several consumers who have tragically lost children to baby products that do not meet the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
