LUCID Platform Beds with Upholstered Square Tufted Headboards Recall Lawsuit

CVB has recalled its LUCID Platform Beds with Upholstered Square Tufted Headboards. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are accepting new cases for recalled beds.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled beds can sag, break, or collapse during use, posing fall and injury hazards to consumers. The CPSC indicated there have been at least 245 reports of the beds breaking, including at least 18 reported injuries. The September 19, 2024, recall includes over 137,000 beds.

The recall includes LUCID Platform Beds in Twin, Full, Queen, King, and Cal-King sizes. They were sold in beige, black, charcoal, cobalt, pearl, and stone. The beds have wooden support beams and wooden support legs. A label on the back side of the headboard is printed with the following: “Made for CVB INC, 1525 W 2960 S, LOGAN, UT 84321”.

The LUCID beds were sold online at Amazon.com, Bed Bath & Beyond, Belk.com, Brookside, eBay, Home Depot, JC Penny, Lowes.com, Lucid, Macy’s, Menards, Overstock, QVC, Sears.com, Target.com, Malouf VIP, Wayfair, and Walmart, and in stores nationwide from September 2019 through April 2024 for between $150 and $250.
