Johnson//Becker, PLLC, attorney Adam J. Kress filed this Complaint on behalf of Ms. Tomica Dickerson, a resident of Illinois, alleging that Ms. Dickerson was severely burned when the safety mechanisms failed on her Farberware 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker. Ms. Dickerson alleges she was injured on August 14, 2023, when “the pressure cooker’s lid suddenly and unexpectedly exploded off the pressure cooker’s pot during the normal, directed use of the pressure cooker.”
The Complaint also goes on to state that Walmart misrepresented the product’s safety, knew of defects that posed a danger to consumers, and failed to warn consumers or recall the pressure cookers.
