On Jan. 8 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the wireless chargers.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the chargers maybe experiencing a malfunction, and may currently pose a fire and safety hazard. While in use, the charger itself may explode.
Are the Magnetic Wireless Chargers Recalled?
Yes, The TJX Companies Inc., of Framingham, Massachusetts announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Isla Rae branded wireless magnetic chargers sold in white, pink and purple. Model number “RM5PBM” can be found on the side of the product.
The chargers were sold at Marshalls and T.J. Maxx stores nationwide between June 2024 and November 2025 for $15.
