IKEA Garlic Press Recall Lawsuit

IKEA 365+ VÄRDEFULL garlic presses have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled kitchen utensils.

What is the Problem?

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), small metal pieces can detach from the garlic press, posing a laceration or ingestion hazard to consumers. IKEA has received at least ten incident reports concerning the garlic presses, including at least three reports involving injuries. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the IKEA Garlic Presses immediately.

The July 31, 2025, recall includes about 54,000 IKEA 365+ VÄRDEFULL Garlic Presses used to crush garlic cloves. The garlic press has a black rubber handle and a zinc-coated garlic chamber. Only models with the IKEA logo are subject to the recall. The logo is located at the upper part of the handle.
