Between April 2 and 13, 2026, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the car seat.
According to the statement of the NHTSA, the car seat may detach from the convenience base in the event of a crash. The base locking hooks may allow the carrier to detach, which could result in the serious injury or death of an infant or young child.
