On March 26, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the ride on toy cars.
According to the assessment of CPSC, the ride-on truck’s circuit board may overheat and ignite while in use, posing a potential fire and burn hazard to children.
There are currently 11 reports of the ride-on trucks catching fire, sparking, burning, melting, overheating and smoking. No injuries have been reported.
Are the Ride-On Trucks Recalled?
Yes, Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co., Ltd., of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks, with a model number of DLS-K03. The trucks were sold in red, black, white and pink. “TURBO DIESEL” is written in black on the side of the truck. The brand name “FUNTOK” and model number “DLS-K03” are printed on the User Manual cover.
The ride-on trucks were sold through Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and TikTok.com from Oct. 2025 through Dec. 2025 for about $240.
