On August 13, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the pressure washer.
According to the CPSC, the pressure washers may lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter. Additionally, the power cord’s short length may encourage the use of an extension cord, which can pose serious risks of injury or death from shock and electrocution hazards.
Are the Pressure Washers Recalled?
Yes, AZ Home Concept Ltd., of China announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves COMMOWNER-branded pressure washers. The 3 GPM electric pressure washers came in orange, green, and blue with black part. They feature a 500 ml tank, foam cannon, four quick connect nozzles, and a 33-foot hose. Model number “HD14P-Z” is printed on a label on the back of the pressure washers. When purchased, the washer may have also been listed as model number HX18.
The pressure washers were sold online through Amazon.com in April 2026 for about $150.
