What is the Problem?
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the steamers can leak steam or spew hot, boiling water, posing a risk of severe burn injury to users. Deale International has received 26 reports of the recalled steamers leaking water or steam, including at least 13 instances where consumers suffered burn injuries. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the CasaClean Handheld Steamers immediately.
Is My Steamer Included in this Recall?
The July 17, 2025, recall includes about 23,000 CasaClean Handheld Steamers (model number DF-958). The steamers were sold in white and gray, as well as blue and gray. The steamers are intended to remove dirt, grease, and limescale in various household areas. The CasaClean logo is on the right side of the steamer. The model number is on the bottom of the machine.
The recalled CasaClean Handheld Steamers were sold on HSN from November 2024 through April 2025 for about $40.
