Calico Critters Animal Figure Set Recall Lawsuit

Epoch Everlasting, LLC of New Jersey recalled their Calico Critters Animal Figures and sets due to choking hazards from the accessories. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted the recall on Mar. 9, 2023.

Why were the animal figures recalled?

According to the CPSC, the Calico Critters Animal Figures and sets include a bottle and pacifier accessory that pose a choking hazard to children.

Epoch Everlasting Play LLC and the CPSC received three incidents with the pacifier accessory, with two infant deaths.

What models of the toy were recalled?

For a complete list of the recalled models, consult the CPSC recall notice. The item numbers are printed on the bottom of the product packaging.

The product recall includes all Calico Critters flocked animal figures and sets sold with the bottle and pacifier accessories. The bottle accessories were sold in yellow, pink, blue and orange. The pacifier accessories were sold in yellow, orange, pink, dark pink, blue and teal.

CPSC advises consumers to immediately take the toys away from their children.
