What is the Problem?
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the USB module in the recliner arm can overheat and spark, posing a risk of overheating. The CPSC has received at least 37 reports of incidents of overheating, smoking, or sparking, including at least one injury. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the Babyletto Kiwi Recliners and Gliders immediately.
Is My Electronic Recliner or Swivel Glider Included in this Recall?
The July 17, 2025, recall includes about 9,040 Babyletto Kiwi Electronic Recliners and Gliders. The chairs have two USB device charging ports and are covered in fabric of various colors. The chairs are approximately 29 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and 41 inches high. The chairs weigh approximately 125 pounds. The chairs included in the recall are below. The batch numbers are printed on a white label found underneath the footrest.

The recalled recliners and gliders were sold at Crate Kids and online at Babyletto.com, Amazon.com, Babylist.com, Target.com, PotteryBarnKids.com, Wayfair.com, and other websites from May 2023 through February 2025 for about $800.
