On Dec.18, 2025, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the fitness machine
According to the assessment of CPSC, one of the arms of the Amp fitness Machine may not lock proply, and may swing unexpectedly during use. This poses a laceration hazard and puts the consumer at a potential risk of serious injury.
There are currently 10 reports of the arm malfunctioning, resulting in lacerations to the head, shoulder, and body.

This recall involves all MP2 models of the AMP Smart Fitness Machine – a wall mounted strength training work out tool.
