Acer Electric Folding Scooters Recall Lawsuit

On April 30, 2026 The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the e-scooter.

According to the assessment of CPSC, the front tube may fold down unexpectedly while in use, posing a risk of injury from a fall hazard.

Are the Acer E-Scooters Recalled?

Yes, Acer America Corporation, of Irvine, California announced a product safety recall.

This recall involves Acer AES015 folding electric scooters. They were sold in black and the wheels have a green circle around the rim. The model number AES015 is located on the label on the front tube.

The e-scooters were sold online through Acer.com, Amazon.com and in stores at BrandMart from between June 2023 and Feb. 2026 for between $245 and $700.
