Jake R. Jagdfeld is a partner with Johnson Becker, PLLC. Jake was sworn into the bar in 2008 and has practiced as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer ever since. Jake represents plaintiffs from around the country with cases involving serious injury, wrongful death, and disability. While in college Jake had the opportunity to work as an intern for United States Senator Paul Wellstone. Senator Wellstone was passionate about sticking up for the “little guy” against the big money power players in Washington D.C. That experience working for Senator Wellstone was inspirational to Jake in pursuing a career representing the injured, who often face difficult odds against insurance companies and corporations. Jake enjoys working one-on-one with his clients to help guide them through the challenges they face after being injured – and helping them to receive fair compensation for their injuries. He has tried many cases to verdict when a fair settlement could not be obtained.
Jake is on the Board of Governors with the Minnesota Association for Justice, and frequently presents at continuing legal education (CLE) seminars. Jake has been recognized as one of the “40 Under 40” by The National Trial Lawyers. He is a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been Selected to Super Lawyers since 2014. In addition, Jake volunteers time with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MVAC). He also volunteers on the Advisory Board for Verterra Energy, Inc., a Minneapolis-based company who produces a modular hydro turbine that creates clean energy from flowing water.
