Jake Jagdfeld

Jake JagdfeldJake R. Jagdfeld is a Partner with Johnson Becker, PLLC. He exclusively represents plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation and disability claims. He also represents Veterans in their claims for VA disability benefits throughout the United States. Additionally, as a part of his military benefits practice, Jake represents U.S. Servicemembers and Veterans in their claims for Traumatic Servicemembers Group Life Insurance (TSGLI) benefits. The claim and appeals process can be challenging, and often requires that a lawsuit be filed in United States Federal District Court when the agency appeals process is exhausted.

Jake has been elected to the Board of Governors of Minnesota Association for Justice, and often serves as a panelist in presentations regarding No-Fault Insurance, No-Fault Arbitrations, Workers’ Compensation, and trial practice. He is also on the National Advisory Board of The Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLA).

As a part of his practice Jake has developed extensive working knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administrative (FMCSA) regulations for inter-state trucking companies. These regulations are often the keys to obtaining successful outcomes for clients injured or killed in semi-truck and heavy truck crashes. Additionally, Jake has developed extensive knowledge of complex workplace and construction accidents where an injured worker can have both workers’ compensation and third-party or product liability claims.

While an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota Jake spent time volunteering with U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone assisting Veterans with their claims and assisting research on policy presented in the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and exercise and spending time with his family and friends and is an avid sports fan.
