On May 28, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the lounge chairs.
According to the CPSC, when adjusting the lounge chairs, consumers may place their fingers at a pinch point, posing a possible amputation risk.
There is currently one report of a consumer’s finger being amputated while adjusting the lounge chair.
Are the Giantex Outdoor Lounge Chairs Recalled?
Yes, Giantex Inc., of Ontario, California announced a product safety recall.
This recall involves Giantex outdoor lounge chairs with model number NP10025NY. The lounge chairs are blue and have a five-position adjustable locking system. Model number NP10025NY is printed on the front and side of the product packaging.
The lounge chairs were sold online through Giantex.com and Amazon.com from Aug. 2023 through Oct. 2025 for between $75 and $90.
