Johnson//Becker filed this Complaint on behalf of Mr. Eduardo Rivera, a resident of Michigan, alleging that a defective Farberware 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker injured Mr. Rivera in June of 2022.
According to the Complaint, the pressure cooker explosion occurred when the lid opened while still under pressure. The Complaint goes on to state that Mr. Rivera used the pressure cooker as intended but was burned when the hot contents burst out as he opened the lid, despite the appearance that the pressure had been released.
The suit was filed by Adam J. Kress of Johnson//Becker, PLLC. Mr. Kress and his team exclusively handle injury cases, with an emphasis on national products liability litigation.
