What is the Problem?
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled bath seats violate 16 CFR 1234 Safety Standard for Infant Bath Tubs, the federal safety regulations for infant bath seats, including stability and leg opening requirements. They can also tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death to babies due to a drowning hazard. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the baby bath seats immediately.
