On Aug. 20th, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
According to the CPSC, the detectors can fail to alert consumers to the presence of hazardous smoke and fire, posing a risk of serious injury or death from smoke and fire hazards.
Are the Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detectors Recalled?
No, guangzhouzhongbokejiyouxiangongsi, has been unresponsive to CPSC’s requests for a recall of these detectors.
This warning involves TJTFJS Combination Smoke and CO Detectors, model TJ00907. The detectors are electronic combination smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors. They are made of white plastic and feature a digital display. The model number, may have been listed on the product packaging, but some were sold without a model number listed.
The detectors have been sold online through Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Kmart.com, Sears.com and Desertcart.com.
