CARBO Folding E-Bike Lawsuit

On June 11, 2026, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning to consumers to immediately cease using the e-bike.

According to the CPSC, the e-bikes may violate the mandatory safety requirements as they may fail to meet safety reflector requirements, which causes reduced visibility of the bicycle and poses a potentially deadly crash hazard.

Are the CARBO E-Bikes Recalled?

No, Veco Electric Bicycle Inc., doing business as CARBO Electric Bike, of Canada has not agreed to offer an acceptable remedy to consumers.

This warning involves CARBO folding e-bikes , models X and S. The bikes were sold in black with multiple motor and battery power options. The e-bikes have “CARBO” printed on the frame post and “CARBO ELECTRIC BIKE” printed on a label located on the seat post.

The e-bikes were sold online at Ridecarbo.com and in stores at Greenpath Electric Bikes from Nov. 2020 through Dec. 2026 for between $2,200 and $2,900.
